Medeem has partnered with Terrafirma Engineering and Surveying Consult (TESCO) to provide consulting services to carry out sanitation survey and city wide mapping exercise for sanitation and water facilities for Lusaka Water supply and sanitation company limited (LWSC).  Medeem in joint venture with TESCO will develop a baseline of spatial data and thematic maps for all water and sanitation infrastructure in unmapped, non-sewered and sewered sanitation areas of the City, develop a GIS database of sanitation facilities and incorporate into related data systems of LWSC and relevant city councils to the extent possible, identify water sources and associated providers of the sanitation service and determine their functionality and build a reliable GIS database related to plots, households and their occupants.
