As Habitat for Humanity Zambia (HFHZ) worked to facilitate both land tenure security and affordable housing for 93 urban vulnerable families in Tiyende Pamodzi, HFHZ enlisted Medeem to provide the government-grade mapping necessary to achieve its objective. In partnership with HFHZ, Medeem charted the subdivision maps needed by the local council to move these vulnerable families further along the road to formal title. Approval and parcel numbering by the council is the final stage of the localized process before these homeowners can then proceed with formal land title applications with the Zambian Ministry of Lands, Natural Resources and Environmental Protection.
