LUSAKA, ZAMBIA – SEPTEMBER, 2018  The German funding agency, Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) contracted MEDEEM to train managers working on their Climate-Friendly Sanitation Service (CFS) program.  The training is designed to enable managers to better define and structure project frameworks and to develop stringent data requirements for funding projects going forward.

In addition, the Nkana Water and Sewerage Company contracted MEDEEM to train 3 newly appointed technical managers in geospatial technology (GIS). The training covered entry-level geospatial data collection, storage, and reporting. The objective of the training was to guide these new managers in selecting appropriate ESRI technology solutions for operations and also to structure consultancy contracts in line with best practices.
