LUSAKA, ZAMBIA, May, 2016

Medeem Zambia has entered into a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Habitat for Humanity Zambia (Habitat), an NGO devoted to building affordable housing in that country, to provide Medeem’s ParcelCert® land tenure documentation services in support of Habitat’s urban housing loan program in the Ndola region of Zambia. According to Habitat’s National Director, Kanyata Mukelabai, “Once our clients have security of land tenure they can access funds from financial institutions..they can use these funds to raise capital for income generating activities.”

Micah Sarkas, Medeem’s Country Director echoed these sentiments and stated: “We are already underway in the roll out of this newest MOU and delighted to be expanding our partnership with Habitat for Humanity Zambia. We believe our joint efforts will continue to uniquely enhance the lives of our mutual clients.”
