LUSAKA, ZAMBIA – OCTOBER, 2018  Choolwe Namoobe has been appointed as GIS Officer/Planner. Choolwe has experience working with both provincial planning offices and district councils respectively. He holds a masters degree in Human Geography with specialization in Geographic Information Systems from Umeå University in Sweden. Choolwe’s main responsibility is to assist Government Councils tackle land tenure documentation in Unplanned Settlements, and further develop GIS systems that will assist Local Government generate revenue.
